Flow of Funds
A transparent, institutional-grade process designed to safeguard investor capital at every stage — from subscription through to deployment.
How Your Capital
Moves Through the Structure
The Elect AMC is built on an institutional custody and governance framework. When you invest, your capital follows a clearly defined path — held in a regulated custody account, overseen by an independent strategy manager, and released to Elect only upon verified instruction through a paying agent. At no point does Elect handle KYC or AML obligations directly; these are managed by your chosen broker, bank, or investment platform at the point of purchase.
Step by Step
The investor acquires the Elect AMC through their existing stockbroker, bank, or investment platform. The purchase is made using the Elect ISIN — a unique securities identification number that allows the certificate to be booked into any standard custody account.
Investment funds are directed to the Elect AMC custodian account held at SwissQuote. This is a segregated account maintained by a regulated custodian, ensuring investor capital is held independently of Elect's own operating accounts.
Upon receipt of funds into the SwissQuote custodian account, the strategy manager — Shire — is automatically notified that new capital has arrived. Shire acts as the independent oversight layer within the AMC structure, responsible for authorising all fund movements.
Shire contacts Elect directly to confirm where the newly received funds should be sent and for what purpose. This verification step ensures that every deployment of capital is documented, justified, and authorised before any movement occurs.
Once Shire has verified and approved the deployment instruction, funds are released from the SwissQuote custodian account to Elect. This transfer is executed on instruction from Shire through the paying agent, ISP, who facilitates the settlement.
The Governance
Framework
Purchases the Elect ISIN through their chosen stockbroker, bank, or platform. KYC/AML is handled at this level by the intermediary, not by Elect.
Holds investor funds in a segregated custodian account. Provides institutional-grade safekeeping within a regulated banking framework, independent of Elect's operations.
Independent strategy manager responsible for authorising all fund movements. Shire verifies the destination and purpose of every deployment before instructing release.
Facilitates the settlement and transfer of funds on instruction from the strategy manager. ISP executes the final payment to Elect once all approvals are in place.
Why This
Structure Matters
By routing investment through the investor's own broker, bank, or platform, all regulatory identity and anti-money laundering checks are performed by established, regulated intermediaries. This removes KYC/AML responsibility from Elect and ensures compliance is handled at the point of entry.
Investor funds are held in a segregated SwissQuote custodian account — not in Elect's own accounts. This ring-fencing provides an institutional layer of protection, ensuring capital is safeguarded within a regulated banking environment independently of Elect's operations.
No funds leave the custodian account without authorisation from Shire, the independent strategy manager. Shire verifies the destination and purpose of every deployment, creating a governance checkpoint that prevents unilateral movement of investor capital.
Every step in the process — from purchase to deployment — is documented through multiple independent parties. The requirement for Shire to verify with Elect before instructing ISP creates a transparent chain of authorisation for every capital movement.
Each party in the chain — from the investor's broker through SwissQuote, Shire, and ISP — operates within a regulated framework. This multi-party structure distributes responsibility and ensures institutional standards at every stage.
The 3 to 5 working day processing window from receipt of funds to deployment allows sufficient time for verification, authorisation, and proper settlement — balancing speed of deployment with rigorous governance controls.
